NEXT MINI-REUNION

First of all, I would like to thank the Lord for the perfect, most beautiful day for our reunion, to personally thank Flor, Obet and family for sharing their beautiful house to make this memorable affair of re-connecting, re-bonding and what Rachel had said-'just picked-up from where we left off 30 years ago' a reality and last but not least, to all our dedicated and loving husbands who gladly and willingly drove 2-3hours to bring us and join in this special occasion. Of course not to mention the coordinators and everybody who made it inspite of busy schedules.
We would like to extend an invitation to all who want to join us in another weekend of fun, food, music, drinks, dancing, karaoke, swimming, etc. (Veron, you can bring your Korean DVD's so we can all start getting hooked to watching them), to our humble home in Abingdon, MD on the 2nd or 3rd weekend of August whichever suits your busy schedules(whether you're in-state or out of state). From the wonderful experience this weekend, I believe that we can add these weekend gatherings to the 'list of healthy living' in addition to (3xweek) as the company, fun and enjoyment that we all share (not to mention the FOOD, forget the 'DIETS' during these times) can be our de-stressor to
break the routine of a whole week of work whether it be at a job or home.
Since it's still a few months away, we can request to be off that weekend or coordinate our busy schedules.
We really had a good time this weekend!!!

Mey,

This is so true. It was so much fun. The feeling was so nostalgic. This reunion made me realize how I should be thankful for all God's provision in our lives. I appreciate you for having thankful heart.

Thanks Rachel. Since you mentioned you want to see MD, and if you can't come for the August mini-reunion in MD, just call whenever you want to visit and the 3 of us here in MD(ruth and tess) will coordinate so we all can see you and spend time with you.(sorry' ruth and tess ha, vinolunteer ko na rin kayo without your consent, but I know you're ok with it). You're very welcome to stay at our home, and if Veron wants to join us too when you come, she's more than welcome.
Like I said, the invitation is not limited to Mid-Atlantic region. Kala mo naman malaki ang aking bahay ano! Di bale, the more the merrier.

Mey, it was so good to see you and your beautiful family last Saturday. I haven't seen you since 1978, so it was really a treat for me. We really had a good time!! Last Saturday was really precious and should be remembered in our important memory banks. Where is Abingdon, Maryland? I might not be able to go there this coming August because of busy schedule, preparing my daughter for college in PA, but I WILL DEFINITELY visit you when we go to Washington D.C. in the future. Your daughter is so sweet and precious. You have done a good job, congratulations!!

I felt the same way, not having seen anybody since we graduated, I'm so glad I came. I really had a very good time. By the way, Thank you so much for the kind words. I'll take some credit but I'll give most of it to my husband, and foremost to our Lord for blessing us with a very special daughter. We're really very proud of her for getting to where she is right now.
Anyway, Abingdon, MD is in Harford County the second county right after Delaware(1st county in MD is Cecil County). It takes us 3hours from here to Westchester County, going thru Rockland County and the Tappan Zee Bridge, so it's not that far. But ok, you're welcome anytime. I'm off all weekends and holidays so whenever you decide to come is fine.
