Wow, you all look rich and beautiful! Awesome, how I wish I could be there too . You should be doing this mini-reunion regularly.

I tried calling several times but Flor's phone just kept ringing, also left a message on Chato's mobile.

Nakakamiss kayo talaga! Congrats you all look happy and contented!

It's wonderful to see you all looking so good and happy. I'm proud of all of you and green with envy that you're having this awesome get-together (without me). Rachel, what are you doing there --- you're all over the place! Veron, did you get everybody signed up? I miss you, Mahgene!!!! Enjoyed the pics, guys. One question---who cooked?

You all carry the spirit and beauty of what we all shared in St. Luke's, Trinity and outside its periphery. What we all had in college has furthermore enriched and strengthened all of us as women, mothers, wives and girls. Mapa-America, Canada, at Pinas, the joy of life will always be with all of us. Class 1978 really rocks!

And Mahgene, it is good to see you and I agree with Geegee, Rachel you are all over the place baka kapag napadaan ako ng Florida, wala ka ha, kakalampagin ko kayo doon! Pattie, the blog really rocks! Love what you have done.....

Julie, si Rachel baka wala nga sa Florida pag napadaan ka doon kasi parang taga Houston siya. Alam mo kung sino ang nandoon? Si Amy Jaramillo. Kaya Amy J, if you are reading this, Julie will be in Jacksonville Florida in June and she will kalampag you there! LOL

P.S. iyon ay kung tutuloy ang kapatid ko na pumasyal sa Houston for a friend at isama ako. Baka iwan ako sa Florida or Tennesse kasi eh...It is so wonderful to be reconnected again with you all.

Thanks Melle for reminding me. My apologies ladies. My alzheimer's moments or pma syndrome attacks again! The potent combination of pinas heat, halo-halo with lots of red mongo, halaya, beans and other condiments. And finalizing with Northwest our flight at sila ay canceled flights to San Francisco. Our choices are Nagoya to Detroit, Memphis, Florida or Portland for we have to visit relatives and friends in Florida and Houston. Grabe itong route na ito. (And this is not my flight alone, but my sister as well.) Paiiwan na lang yata ako sa Florida tapos canceled flights pa ang NWA! Its April pa naman still some months away. By the way, Teta is April born in April so her name! If ever can you extend to her my warmest, I do remember her. Besides, I am always hopeful and positive kaya baka mahawi ang ulap.

Julie --- sumama ka na sa siste mo sa Houston. I am extending a personal invitation for you to come stay at my house. I will roll out the red carpet just for you, put out our best china and silverware and be your personal tour guide here in Houston. I will take you to see whatever musical is playing at that time. Ano pa ang gusto mo? Nandito and iba mo pang magagandang classmates, Patti and (guess who?) RACHEL!!!! Sige na....Love, Geegee

Thanks Geegee for the invite. "I'm gonna knock on your doors, ring on your bells and tap on your window sills!" Remember this old jingle? The gesture is warmly appreciated. I feel like making a rain dance so that our plans will all work out without any hitches. Thank you so much for opening your doors and houses to me. Tapos pala sa ibang pinto ang nakatok ko, kina Melle pala, nakarating ako ng Australia! Masanay na kayo girls sa kabadingan at kabaduyan ko.

Geegee, Rachel was very helpful yesterday. She was able to get Amy Benavidez, Sara Capegsan and Flor Bolos signed in. Cecil Herrera forwarded to me Patsi's original email invitation to the blog. Amy Benavidez brought her laptop with her and Rachel signed her in and showed her how to blog...I will make more comments tomorrow, I just got back home after I dropped off Rachel to the airport. We had the most wonderful time of our life...non stop laughing till 3:30 AM. then more during breakfast...more picture taking.
We slept late because we were scrapbooking...IT IS MARVELOUS...
We started pictures before capping, then during capping, our clinical, orthopaedic, PHN, Pinning Ceremony, Graduation Breakfast, Graduation ceremony, Memories with our classmates after graduation, Grand and mini reunions and lastly individual pictures with their families.
We have to add more...the Blog Site of Daughters of Nightingale 78, our 30th year Grand reunion at San Francisco...I will be leaving an empty page for each one of you who are not present during Mid-Atlantic reunion. My plan is to continue the scrapbooking during our meeting at Sara Paredes' residence on July 3, 2008. so to those who would like to place their pictures in our scrapbook, you can bring with you your pictures or email them too me (higher resolution please) and I'll make sure that you will all be included in the book...
This is for now. I did not edited this comment. I am now going to rest...Bye. More pictures to come from our Mid-Atlantic reunion and
they will be added to the existing Movie.
