Class 1978 Roster Update
Please send your birthday/wedding anniversary details to my e-mail address if you don't want to post it in the blog. So far 27 have replied. If I do not hear from you in the next 24 hours I will call you from Sydney, Australia but will have to reverse the charges!

I am not busy now, the wedding went well, all I have to do is to prepare my youngest daughter for College, then it is just me and Rene.

HAHAHA! Nice to hear from you again Mildred! Yes, you are one of the 27 who have responded so quickly. How I wish everyone could be like you, it makes life easy!
So this youngest daughter of yours is taking up Nursing right? Congratulations, that is what parenthood is all about. We give the best we can to make our children happy and contented and then we let go of them. The best is never to expect anything in return " Blessed are those who do not expect for they shall not be disappointed!"

To tell you the truth, I am getting sad already just to think about my girls leaving me one by one. The first one just got married, the second one might get engage soon and the third one is leaving for College.Oh,I don't like to think about it.. but I guess I have to prepare myself.. I am just too close to my girls, that is why it hurts so much.. but come to think of it, I am not losing my daughters, I am gaining sons, good sons if I MAY ADD.. You all will have your turn someday...
Mildred, I remember that I was always crying everytime Chris my oldest son goes back to the Dorm.The tears just keeps on rolling.
Hi Mildred and Liza. I know how it feels... letting go is easier said than done. We love our kids so much and we overprotect them. My children have been my world and it is so hard to totally let go of them. I say that they are not ready, but I think in reality, I am the one who is not ready. I tried to be away from them last year but I missed them so much and was always worried about what they were eating and how they were managing on their own. But, I know there is a time for "real letting go." and it is coming soon!
I see your point Mildred, now that you have a son in-law, you have a bigger family. It's a cycle of life, and soon you will be Granny. LOL .... and you will be talking about your grandchildren's series of firsts...

Ninang Teta, thanks for the update, akala ko pa naman tatawagan na kita eh. April din pala ang wedding anniversary niyo ni Leo. Nakarecover ka na ba sa pagod mo sa reunion? Remember our Lake Tahoe Cruise. Nakahiga ka, LOL ikaw pala ang Tahoe Queen kasi may dalawa ka pang special nurses na nag-alaga sa iyo. Ano ba yun Ninang, seasickness? Baka pagnag cruise tayo sa Mexico mahilo ka ha! Tanong ko lang, makarating kaya talaga ako sa 2010?
Also, I am reminding you to take up your citizenship na ASAP para pagdaan mo sa immigration wala masyadong hassle.
