The St. Luke's Daughters of Nightingale 1978 is a weblog for the 1978 graduates of St. Luke's - Trinity College of Nursing in Quezon City, Philippines. It is a forum to post messages, thoughts and photos. It has been 30 years since we said our goodbyes and stepped out of the Cathedral doors, strong in our ideals and ready to take on the poor in health and poor in spirit as Florence Nightingale did more than a century ago. It's been 30 years too long. We have some catching up to do!

Hi Oddie, this is after the Casino.
Yes, I am very glad this trip is only about us, no kids, no husbands! We are now all single and free to do anything. Wow! We are having a blast!
Teta is asleep in the photo. This was when we were on the Lake Tahoe Cruise. She finally ran out of energy, walang pahinga since last weekend when her daughter had graduation party, then worked straight till Thursday,picked me up at the airport after work then next day picked Cecile up again at the airport. Hahaha! Kaya yesterday, we gave her a chance to rest kasi non stop na ang tawanan namin. LOL
We are now heading to Yosemite National Park, will be in the area till July 1.
Cecile cannot comment in the blog kasi she forgot her password. We try to squeeze in computer tutorial when we can. She drives really well,except on winding road, she likes to stay in the opposite lane. LOL
Teta, Melle and Cecile, Ano? Libre naba kaming lahat sa reunion? Mukhang nag casino na kayo ah? Siguro lahat kayo panalo dahil masasaya ang mga mukha ninyo?
Drive carefully when you go to Yosemite...Don't forget to see the "Mirror Lake" and the "Bridal Falls". Take some pictures. I collect nature pictures taken by friends. I saw these places before but did not take pictures.
I will be leaving NJ tomorrow morning. Will be in SF at 10 AM.

Cecile, did you turn off your cell phone? I was trying to call you so I can talk to Melle but you don't pick up, remember we have the same Verizon server so it is free of charge. Maybe you are just too busy shopping with Melle and Teta... LOL..

Wow, you all look good, mukhang enjoy na enjoy kayo!! Talaga namang ang aga ninyong inumpisahan ang "reunion"..Hope you still have the energy for the real reunion..Save it for there are more LOL moments!! I will be in Oakland/SFO tomorrow, July 1, arriving in the afternoon.Will be hanging out with a high school friend till July 3. I will see all of you @ Sarah's..Excited na talaga ako!

Hello Ladies! Nag-taho na kayo! Inggit naman ako sa inyo, how I wish nakapag-taho din ako sa inyo. Hindi Tahoe ha, taho! Say ninyo hindi na siya Dangwa, Bongga kayo day! We will be leaving JAX, Tuesday, 01 July to Detroit then arrive at San Francisco by NWA airbus A320 at Terminal 1 at 1737 hr. Ms. Sarah, I will course my query via the blog and I hope you wouldn't mind, nandiyan na ba ba si Carmen? I failed to contact Faith as well before we left, does anybody know if Faith is also already there and whether she is coming? I tried to get in touch with all our Pinas based classmates and friends. At sila Faith, Carmen, Pinky, Virma and moi lang kaming nandito. Ms. Oddie handa ka na ba sa akin, this early I am forewarning you, isang maleta akong buang! Kaya wa ka choice..In a serious note, like Ms. Ruth excited na rin akong makita kayong lahat! Cheers to All The Daughters!!!

My husband and I arrived SF yesterday and got a chance to meet with Mark (son), Rahcelli (his gf and Rachel Evangelista's daughter,Rahcel and his son.
Sarah, you must tell us how to get to your place. I am now at Crowne Plaza Hotel.
The plan for tommorrow Julie is to go to Carmel and drive Highway 1...You will enjoy the Pacific Ocean scenic view...We will be driving with Melle's sister's family, Cecile, Rachel and my hubby. I will see you later.

Patricia, ikaw ba iyan! How are you? Failed to get in touch with you while in Florida..hectic.thanks to Oddie and Mr. Sabas for letting us stay in her very beautiful homes, tama ka nga Cynthia ba or Rachel that Oddie's home is a place where you are near touching heaven!
