Here's to rekindling old friendships and forging new ones!

Dear Friends,
This is the tarpaulin that I asked the pc shop here in Meycauayan to create. I do not know if this is to your liking, basta ginawa ko without anybody's permission from the organization; Mildred and the rest of the Members, and the whole class. Handa na akong panain ninyo for I have submitted this to the College earlier this morning. The Dean is happy about it and they will take care of hanging it outside the University. And the College of Nursing is wow! Building na siya but I still love our old college..bias ano..Ok lang batuhin ninyo ako ng cherries or grapes...LOL Siempre naman proud ako to be part of Class 1978 and be one of the Daughters of Nightingale ! Cheers everybody!
The tarpaulin is great Julie, hindi ka namin babatuhin, in fact we are even going to give you hugs and kisses for what you have done!! Your creativity, initiative and willingness to promote our class unity is duly appreciated. How big is this tarpaulin? You mean it will be hung outside the university? Wow, ang sikat naman ng class '78. I am going to tell my sister to pass by the school to take a look at it.
I am proud of our class, The DAUGHTERS OF NIGHTINGALE IS REALLY AWESOME.If you could take a picture of it na naka hang sa university and bring it to the reunion, so that the class can appreciate what you had done. If only you have the time, no pressure...Thanks again...
Thanks Mildred for the appreciation. The size if I am not mistaken is 6x12 (feet ba or what, hindi ko na alam ah LOL). It's big enough to capture the attention of people passing Trinity. Yap that's what the Dean told me that it will be hang outside the university. That is free advertisement for the school, so they better hang it outside. I will follow that up. I will contact the college if they can take a picture of it. And if might not be able to do it, I might ask the office of the Dean to take a shot of it and bring it to San Francisco. By the way, may I ask if the Dean of the College is a sponsored trip by the class or by Trinity?
Good job Julie...I like it...I can't find myself on the pic. But that is OK...Class '78 naman ako.
Julie, as I said before it is wonderful. It was so nice of you to have it done. We all appreciate your effort. Ang gaganda natin lahat ano?
Who is the Dean? No we did not sponsor her. What class did she belong to? I don't know who sponsored her, maybe the Alumni Assoc or baka she sponsored herself....
Other faces I can recognize pero sino ba yoong nasa right 4th row na naguusap, na di napayattention sa camera? siguro mas exciting ang chica chica nila...some were facing different cameras siguro, kanya-kanyang direction ang tingin.
Still, the picture brought a lot of
memories. Very nostalgic!
thanks again Julie......
Congratulations Julie, your tarpauline project looks good. I will ask Gary when he sees it hanging on the fence. Maybe he can ask someone to take a photo of it and e-mail it to me. He should be proud his wife is now a celebrity!
Looks like there are only a bit more than 60 of us in the pic so Veron is right she is not in the photo. Maybe Mrs. Acosta took your place LOL . Or you may be with your boyfriend which is more interesting than having a class pictorial.
Thanks Julie.
Naku lagot, hindi ko alam if who are in or not in the pic. Pardon me if you are not in the picture, Veron. I don't even know if I were there. I just thought that it is a picture of the class that is inclusive of everybody. Hindi ko na binilang kung ilan. Gosh, I beg your pardon ladies if you are not in the picture. Let us just look at it this way; Class 1978, Daughters of Nightingale picture in front of the Cathedral is a class picture that represents each and everyone of us, graduates of Class 1978. I beg everybody's pardon for the picture I chose.
PS Veron, I am counting on your broad mindedness, wide hearts and basic good nature that you wouldn't feel bad that you are not in the pic that I choose for the tarpaulin. Patawarin mo ako Veron, ano ba ang puede kong gawin to make up for it... Ikaw pa man din! Again, I beg all your pardon for the picture I choose.
LOL, Joke lang Julie and Veron
P.S If you want to visit the site of Trinity it is http://www.tua.edu.ph
Kaya may nag "chi chica" sa pic at dahil "watch out"
LOL
Julie
BON VOYAGE!
Take care and God be with you always!
See you in San Francisco - July 4!
Melle or Julie...why July 4? are you not attending the reunion at Sarah's place? July 3?
Oops, sorry, another senior moment. Yes, we will be there, hopefully arrive on time.
I was able to talk to Dedel last Saturday and she confirmed Lolit Veras is in the Philippines. Dedel said aside from her, Liza and Amy J are going to attend the reunion.
